About the Project
This project explores a question every sports and events brand runs into: how do you keep content feeling fresh and native to the moment, hour after hour, without reinventing the format every time? Working within the Ripken Experiences brand system, I designed a five-format content kit built to function as a real-time social toolkit for a full day of tournament play — from the first pitch to the trophy photo.
The Concept
Tournament days move fast and content needs to keep pace without losing brand consistency. Rather than design one-off graphics for each moment, I built a repeatable system: five templated formats that could be populated quickly on-site and still feel considered, on-brand, and distinct from generic score-update posts.
Tournament Announcement — the opening beat, setting tone and stakes for the day
Pregame Matchup — team vs. team announcement graphic, built to post the moment brackets are set.
Final Score — a clean, fast-turnaround scoreboard format for in-game and postgame posting
Championship Winner — the celebratory closer, built to feel like a payoff, not just another template
Postgame Quote — a quote-card format designed to spotlight a player or coach moment
Each format uses original illustrated characters — the same character IP I developed for a local travel baseball team, adapted here to carry the Ripken brand's energy across every touchpoint.

Why it's here
This one's speculative — not a client-commissioned brief — built specifically to demonstrate systems thinking for sports and entertainment content: the kind of format-first, brand-consistent toolkit a rights holder or sports brand needs when content has to move as fast as the game does.
